patchway festival 2015

Press Release

Patchway Festival is back in 2019 and is bigger than ever! This year, the Patchway Festival committee have decided to revamp the fortnight with some very different events being added as well as the usual festival events. Patchway Festival 2019 commences with a huge community fair on Saturday 20th July at midday and runs until 6pm.

This year, there will not be a schools parade instead we will erect an arts and crafts marquee in the park and local artists will be on hand to help design some puppets created around the theme of unity and we encourage children to take part in these activities throughout the day. Throughout the community fair we have live bands such as Samba and Reggae as well as lots of delicious food being served.

The funfair will be back as well as the new surfing simulator and a inflatable football game for all to enjoy. Events during the fortnight include a Wurzel tribute night, 2 quizzes, a dog show and so much more going on for ages 1 to 101! We have tried to modernize the festival this year as well as revamping our social media streams. You can find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter (@patchwayfests) and we can listen to your views on a real time basis. We have a lot more entertainment this year at our fun day and a lot more variety throughout the fortnight so there is truly something that will unite people from all different backgrounds.

You can get involved with Patchway Festival this year by coming to our events, volunteering for one event or more and by bringing your ideas forward to the committee.

We are extremely grateful for the support we have received from The National Lottery Community Fund, Quartet Community Foundation, Stoke Lodge Parish Council. Airbus, Bromford and Patchway Town Council, who without them this festival would cease to exist.

We are always looking out for new sponsors and would love to work with new and exciting business within our community. We have different packages of sponsorship available this year, so please get in touch for more information.
